We have been very lucky (especially kai because he won’t let anyone else drive it) to have the opportunity to try the Ponsse Scorpion King Harvester on site for a couple of weeks to work alongside our Komatsu’s in our long-term thinning programme in North Wales. It is going to be very difficult to give this one back!
In lorry news, we had a surprise visit from Will Cottrell from plant repair services on his fantastically restored, immaculate condition 3 series Scania. Great to see, bringing back many memories from the 90's- a real head turner!
Meanwhile, at Pwllpeiven junction the team worked extremely hard to complete a very large area of felling during a limited power outage. Completing the job with literally thirty seconds to spare before the power was switched back on again. Well done team SJF, always going above and beyond!
As we leap into spring, it looks like after a slow start, our order book is getting full which is always fantastic to see! We like keeping it busy for the lads in the woods, as well as keeping our customers well supplied!
